Mike
Mike's tree care career started at Plumpton College, where he turned his passion for tree climbing into a skilled profession. With a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Forestry and Arboriculture, Mike has spent the last 18 years perfecting his craft, working for both small and large companies and even taking his expertise to Canada. Known for his calm and controlled presence on any job site, Mike brings a steady hand and expert knowledge to every project. Whether he's up in the trees or coordinating on the ground, his passion for nature and his profession shines through in every task he takes on.
Nick
Nick’s love for the outdoors started young - he was the kid who spent more time in trees than on the ground. After a stint as a chef (because, why not?), Nick’s true calling was reignited when his brother Mike taught him how to climb trees the professional way, with ropes and harnesses. For years, Nick climbed for fun until he realised the kitchen wasn’t cutting it. During COVID, he hung up his apron, picked up a chainsaw, and never looked back. Now, as co-founder of Arb Bros Tree Services, he’s swapping recipes for rigging, making the leap from “tree enthusiast” to “tree surgeon,” and loving every minute of it.
Eddie
Eddie also graduated from Plumpton College, armed with all the qualifications he could get his hands on a couple of years ago. Since then, he's been bouncing between companies, grabbing every opportunity to sharpen his "skillz." A natural-born climber, Eddie seems more at home hanging from a tree than standing on solid ground. He makes tree work look easy, though he’s just as handy on the ground, keeping things running smoothly while cleaning up after his fellow climbers. Laid-back and always smiling, Eddie brings good vibes and hard work to every job!
Max
Max graduated from Plumpton College alongside Eddie, and he’s proven himself to be an all-around tree surgery powerhouse. Whether he’s up in the canopy or working on the ground, Max can handle any job thrown his way and do it with plenty of banter to keep spirits high. With the strength to (almost) rip a tree stump out with his bare hands, yet the grace and finesse of a dancer when swinging through the branches, Max is the perfect blend of muscle and skill. Hardworking and always up for a laugh, he’s a key part of the team.
Aaron
After completing his time in the army 12 years ago, Aaron found his next challenge in tree work. He worked closely with Nick while subcontracting, and when Arb Bros Tree Services was born, bringing Aaron on board was a no-brainer. Chilled, organised, and with a sharp focus on safety, he quickly became an essential part of the team. Though his passion for helping others has led him to a new career as a lifeboat captain and engineer, Aaron still manages to join Arb Bros Tree Services occasionally, lending his experience on the ground and sharing his knowledge with the next generation of climbers.
